Mandate 2014 – the voice of the family day care sector

Following the change of Government after the 2013 Federal Election, Family Day Care Australia has launched Mandate 2014 – the voice of family day care for the next term of government. With your help we are developing a clear and broadly representative mandate for family day care and positions on key issues affecting the sector.

This project began with the 2013 FDCA Excellence in Family Day Care Symposium and continues with a sector wide survey, dedicated focus groups and ongoing refinement via the National Members’ Forum.

Key issues include:

• The National Quality Framework
• Funding Support and Sustainability
• Child care affordability and accessibility
• Workforce issues and service structure
